I rode down 10km of washboard in Australia on a Shadow 750 and after I killed the bike for a quick rest I found I couldn't get it started again, some electrics had shaken themselves loose. TC works fine on a smooth dirt road, and depending on mode will allow for nice slides without highsiding you to the moon.
